She & Him is Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward making wonderfully tuneful retro-licious melodies together. She & Him could be considered a throwback in terms of the music, but the oh-so-modern lyrics give it a little edge upon further listen. I've enjoyed both Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 quite a bit.
Nothing, however, is better than Miss Zooey and Will Ferrell singing in Elf!!
