New stuff!
Salt & Peeper!
This little peeper just wants to please. Turn his head to the right- his eyes change from blue to white and his beak dispenses salt; turn it left - his eyes turn black and of course his beak pours the pepper.

Featured Album: Gimme Gimme Gimme- Reinterpreting Black Flag
"Gimme Gimme Gimme is an interesting concept: take well-known and much loved noise punk gut blasts from the first five years of Black Flag’s existence (the most fondly thought of period, before Greg Ginn began thinking his music sounded better slower) and translate them into country, surf, blues, and other old timey genres that didn’t show much growth beyond the 1960s. Instead of getting some professional barroom minstrels or some university-trained Generation Y hipsters to do it, the producers of this project knocked on the doors of some SST-era indie figureheads — former band members Dez Cadena, Keith Morris, and Kira Roessler, punk bassist extraordinaire Mike Watt, and long lost Joe Biaza of Saccharine Trust fame. Oh, and for the uber ’80s college rock aficionados and Valley Girlenthusiasts, Peter Case shows up, too."

New vinyl! Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
From Paste Magazine: "Hysterical opens undeniably strong. “Same Mistake” is a jam of epic proportions, complete with noticeable “The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth”-esque drums and guitar line, and the spacey guitars on first single “Hysterical” lend an otherworldy vibe to Ounsworth’s paranoid ramblings. The singer sounds clearer and on most of Hysterical’s other tracks, the fuzz and friction are vintage Clap Your Hands."
From Pretty Much Amazing: "A herald of jangly guitars comes stampeding over the hills and skids to a halt in front of you, breathlessly announcing the imminent arrival of royalty. Before you know what’s happening, there’s a terrific explosion of a dance beat, and synthesisers rain down from the sky, thudding into the wet ground around your feet...Hysterical is beautiful in its vulnerability. It may be anthemic and slick, but it never feels dishonest, instead sounding as if the band has finally decided which direction to take."
Come check out this and all our other new vinyl in!

Punk Rock Cooking
Cool zines in stock..like this one!
So Raw It's Downright Filthy
Joshua Ploeg is the traveling vegan chef, criss-crossing the country cooking up DIY meals in people's homes and underground venues.
A wonderful follow-up to his third cookbook, In Search of the Lost Taste, this brand-new zine is focused exclusively on Joshua’s take on raw food.
Revel in the majesty of easy, cheap and raw recipes like his Mushroom-Pear Salad with Five Spice. Give yourself a massive high five after fixing up his pho.
The raw diet does not have to mean a pile of wilted lettuce with lime squeezed over it.
The raw diet can be a party of flavor and delight that rivals any cooked meal.
